‘The White Lotus’ Creator Mike White Is Returning for ‘Survivor’ Season 50: ‘I Want to Play Again’
The White Lotus creator Mike White has been announced as a returning contestant for Survivor's upcoming 50th season after he repeatedly asked to 'play again.'
The filmmaker, 54, was announced as a member of the cast, along with 23 other returning players, for the upcoming milestone 50th season of the CBS reality TV competition on Wednesday, May 28. CBS Mornings host Vladimir Duthiers then pointed out that Mike is “now one of the most powerful guys in Hollywood” and has even cast Survivor alums like Alec Merlino and Angelina Keeley in The White Lotus. While he is recognized for other projects, including Nacho Libre(2006) and Enlightened(2011), Mike is most famous for creating, writing and directing HBO’s The White Lotus, which concluded its third season in April.
