Shortly after Simone’s upcoming role on the show was announced in an Instagram post on Thursday, November 22, several fans rushed to the comments section to ask why the gymnast, 27, had been given the gig. “People not realizing that Simone can actually give great advice on performance, routine, stage presence and confidence,” Noivas Wright, who competed on season 23 of the show, wrote. “This totally makes sense when you realize that these people can already SING and what they need is training on stage presence, confidence, and performance, which she’s an expert in,” another social media user chimed in.
