'The View' Cohosts Slam Body-Shamers Who Judged Selena Gomez's Appearance
‘s Sunny Hostin and Whoopi Goldberg are rushing to Selena Gomez‘s defense against body-shamers. During the Tuesday, February 25, episode of The View, both hosts sounded off on a recent Glamour op-ed titled “It’s Okay to Feel Hurt When Celebrities Lose Weight—but Let’s Unpack It.” The article specifically alleged that Gomez’s “visibly slimmer appearance” at the SAG Awards on Sunday, February 23, sparked “a wave of reactions from fans.” “The sort of cult of celebrity is always interesting to me,” Hostin, 56, shared on Tuesday’s episode about the speculation into Gomez’s appearance.
