‘The Traitors’ Format Rights Acquired for Brazil, Mexico by NBCUniversal From All3Media International (EXCLUSIVE)
The NBCU reps ‘The Traitors’ first local format licenses in Latin America.
Over 50 territories have broadcast episodes via tape sales, which All3Media referred to on Monday as a “global phenomenon” and part of its “expansive format slate” which also includes “Race Across The World,” “Lingo” and “Cash Cab.” All3Media Intl. It doubled down on its casting of established reality performers, pivoted to a week-by-week release, and Peacock itself is just bigger than it was in early 2023, so “The Traitors” could break onto the Nielsen streaming chart. “We have every confidence the brilliant [NBCU] teams [in Latin America] will deliver dramatic, addictive, and immersive versions of ‘The Traitors’ that will captivate audiences across the region— and beyond,” said Yari Torries, VP Latam & U.S. Hispanic at All3Media International.
