‘The Thing About Pam’ Offshoot ‘The Thing About Tommy’ In Works At Peacock
Peacock is developing The Thing About Tommy, from writer Bruce Marshall Romans and the companies behind the NBC limited series The Thing About Pam.
The Thing About Tommy is inspired by the true story of Thomas Randolph, nicknamed “Black Widower,” who has been married six times and four of those wives ended up dead. After premiering on NBC, The Thing About Pam, starring Renée Zellweger as Hupp, is available on Peacock, which also is home to Dr. Death and the Dateline library. In addition to writing the pilot script, Romans is executive producing The Thing About Tommy with Jason Blum, Chris Dickie and Jeremy Gold for Blumhouse as well as NBC News Studios’ Liz Cole.
