‘The Summer I Turned Pretty’ Actor Christopher Briney to Receive North Fork TV Festival’s 2025 Rising Star Award (EXCLUSIVE)


"The Summer I Turned Pretty" star Christopher Briney is set to receive the North Fork TV Festival's 2025 Rising Star Award.

Created to celebrate emerging talent whose performances have captivated audiences and signaled a bold new force in television, the accolade will be presented to Briney at the 10th Annual North Fork TV Festival, which runs June 17-18 in Greenport, NY. The event will feature a curated lineup of pilot screenings, panel discussions, exclusive receptions, and award spotlights, offering attendees a behind-the-scenes look at the evolving art of television storytelling. Best known for his breakout role as Conrad Fisher in Amazon’s YA romance series “The Summer I Turned Pretty,” which will debut its third and final season this July, Briney recently starred as Aaron Samuel” in Paramount’s “Mean Girls.” Briney made his debut starring opposite Ben Kingsley in “Dalíland.” He graduated from Pace University where he received a bachelor’s of fine arts in acting for film, TV, voiceover and commercial.
