‘The Studio’ EP Says Martin Scorsese Was Careful Not To Be “Backseat Director” During Cameo
Despite his decades of critically-acclaimed experience in motion pictures, Martin Scorsese knew when to stay in his lane on 'The Office'.
After the Oscar-winning director played himself in the premiere episode of the Apple TV+ series The Studio, co-creators and executive producers Alex Gregory and Evan Goldberg said Scorsese “was unbelievable” in his cameo but refused to step on anyone’s toes. “He had one note, but he didn’t give it until later,” Gregory told People of the episode directed by Goldberg and star Seth Rogen.
