‘The Sex Lives Of College Girls’ Officially Dead After Efforts To Find New Home Didn’t Pan Out
Efforts by Warner Bros. TV to find a new home for 'The Sex Lives of College Girls' after its cancellation by Max have been unsuccessful.
“We were very much hoping to find a new home for that one, and I think we’ve now come to the end of the road, which is disappointing, because it’s a show that we really love,”Warner Bros. TV Group chairman Channing Dungey told Deadline in an expansive interview. As Deadline reported at the time of Max’s cancellation last month, WBTV was believed to be in talks with Netflix, where Kaling has a longstanding relationship, but the streamer was considered a long-shot new home prospect given the complexities of a potential move with rights of the existing seasons entangled around the world. The Sex Lives of College Girls Season 3 series regular cast included Pauline Chalamet, Amrit Kaur, Alyah Chanelle Scott, Christopher Meyer, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino, and Renika Williams, joined by new additions Gracie Lawrence and Mia Rodgers.
