‘The Rainmaker’ Legal Drama Sets Premiere Date At USA Network; Unveils First Trailer
USA Network has set August 15 for the premiere of The Rainmaker, USA's upcoming legal drama series based on the John Grisham novel.
“I’ve always wanted to be a lawyer,” says Milo Callaghan’s Ruby Baylor on the first day of his new job at a prestigious law firm in the trailer. Rudy, along with his boss (Lana Parrilla) and her disheveled paralegal, uncover two connected conspiracies surrounding the mysterious death of their client’s son. The Rainmaker received a series order from the NBCUniversal cable network in June 2024, capping a six-year journey by Seitzman to bring the book to TV.
