Benicio del Toro and Mia Threapleton portray a complex father-daughter duo in the trailer for “ The Phoenician Scheme,” Wes Anderson ‘s latest feature. The film also features Tom Hanks, Bryan Cranston, Jeffrey Wright, Riz Ahmed, Scarlett Johansson, Richard Ayoade, Mathieu Amalric, Rupert Friend, Hope Davis and Benedict Cumberbatch. Anderson’s most recent features were 2023’s “Asteroid City” and 2021’s “The French Dispatch,” and he won his first Oscar for the short film, “The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar,” in 2024.
