‘The Penguin’: Max Says It Landed Biggest 4-Day Audience For A New Series In Every Region Globally
The streamer says the new series landed the biggest 4-day audience for a new series on Max in every region globally, since The Last of Us in 2023.
The Matt Reeves series dropped first on Max before premiering Sunday on HBO. The Penguin debut was just below the fourth season premiere of True Detective: Night Country, which averaged 5.7 million. The series launch also boosted interest in The Batman movie on Max; the streamer says the 2022 Robert Pattinson flick reached 3.5x more accounts than previous weeks.
