‘The Outlaws’ producer Nickie Sault has launched a new production company Class 5 and set her first feature ‘Rare Singles’ with author Ben Myers.
Class 5, which will be based in Sheffield, in the north of the U.K., has already lined up its first major project with author Ben Myers in association with Warner Music Entertainment. The feature, an adaptation of his novel “Rare Singles,” tells the story of a middle aged music fan in Scarborough who makes contact with her soul-singing hero Bucky Bronco and unexpectedly invites him to visit. “When people spend their hard-earned money to see a film or commit hours of their life to watching something on television, we, as creators, need to earn that privilege by making sure that what we put out into the world is meaningful.
