The Office spinoff was officially ordered at Peacock, and we’re now learning of several original cast members who have not been approached, with one shutting the door entirely on appearing. Here’s the synopsis of the new series, from Peacock: The documentary crew that immortalized Dunder Mifflin’s Scranton branch is in search of a new subject when they discover a dying historic Midwestern newspaper and the publisher trying to revive it with volunteer reporters. The series is produced by Universal Television.
