‘The Neighborhood’ Spinoff ‘Crutch’ Starring Tracy Morgan Ordered By Paramount+

Paramount+ has given a series order to the multi-camera comedy headlined by Tracy Morgan. It is set in the CBS sitcom starring Cedric the Entertainer.

It centers on its titular character Francois “Frank” Crutchfield (Morgan) – or “Crutch” to those who know him well – a Harlem widower whose empty-nest plans are put on hold after his millennial son and free-spirited daughter move back home. Morgan plays Crutch, a ‘say-it-like-it-is’ widowed father who is challenged when his two adult children and a couple of grandchildren need to move back home, and let’s just say there will be several comedic complications.” Cedric and Eric C. Rhone executive produce Crutch via A Bird and a Bear along with Smith, Kaplan for Kapital Entertainment; Trilling for TrillTV; and Morgan.
