‘The Morning Show’s’ Charlotte Stoudt to Receive Variety’s Showrunner Award at SCAD TVfest
Charlotte Stoudt, showrunner of Apple TV+’s hit 'The Morning Show,' will receive the Variety Showrunner Award at the 12th annual SCAD TVfest.
Stoudt’s previous television work includes the Netflix limited series “Pieces of Her“ with Toni Collette, six seasons of “Homeland,” “House of Cards” and “Fosse/Verdon.” “Charlotte Stoudt took over as showrunner this season and upped the ante with new stars like Jon Hamm, while further exploring the state of journalism, our nation and our society — and how that all shapes our tricky interpersonal dynamics. Stoudt will accept the award at a special ceremony on Feb. 9, where the festival will screen an episode of “The Morning Show” followed by a discussion moderated by Variety ’s Michael Schneider.
