Sigourney Weaver is officially headed to the Star Wars universe! The actress has confirmed her role in the upcoming The Mandalorian and Grogu film.

In a recent interview, Sigourney Weaver revealed that she has been locked for a role in theupcoming movie, confirming that she just met with the puppet for Grogu the other day. Temuera Morrison has also expressed interest in returning as Boba Fett in The Mandalorian and Grogu, with his character having been all but absent from the series following his failed Disney Plus spin-off. Though with production on the film already starting to ramp up, it’s likely Star Wars fans will be finding out about more than just Sigourney Weaver joining the cast in short order.
