‘The Last Drive-In’ Season 7 Sets Ice Nine Kills Frontman Spencer Charnas as First Guest, Shudder Debuts Trailer (EXCLUSIVE)

Shudder's talk series 'The Last Drive-In' with Joe Bob Briggs will debut Season 7 with Ice Nine Kills frontman Spencer Charnas as guest.

Joe Bob Briggs is back at “ The Last Drive-In,” with Shudder debuting the first trailer for its variety show’s seventh season ahead of its March 7 premiere. Along with new footage and a promise of many double-features, the show also announced that the first episode would guest feature Spencer Charnas, frontman of the horror-slanted heavy metal band Ice Nine Kills. Produced by Not The Funeral Home’s Matt Manjourides and Justin Martell, “The Last Drive-In” first debuted in July 2018, reviving a variety show tradition of horror criticism and film curation that began with Briggs’ ’90s TNT series “MonsterVision.” Titles showcased on the most recent season last year include “Donnie Darko,” “The Toxic Avenger,” “Carnival of Souls” and “Death Spa.” Austin Jennings directs all episodes of Season 7.
