‘The Iron Claw’ Sets Max Premiere Date
A24's 'The Iron Claw' has locked in its premiere date on Max through the company's output deal with the streamer.
Based on a true story, The Iron Claw follows the rise and fall of the Von Erich family, a dynasty of wrestlers who made a huge impact on the sport from the 1960s to the present day. Written and directed by Durkin, the film also stars Jeremy Allen White, Harris Dickinson, Holt McCallany, Maura Tierney and Lily James, among others. Most recently releasing Rose Glass’s bodybuilding thriller Love Lies Bleeding and Alex Garland’s buzzy dystopian title Civil War, A24’s slate for the year also includes Jane Schoenbrun’s acclaimed Sundance pic I Saw the TV Glow(May 3), Annie Baker’s Janet Planet(June 21) starring Julianne Nicholson, and the slasher MaXXXine(July 5) capping a trilogy of horror films from Ti West and Mia Goth.
