Producer Cathy Schulman talks about 'The Idea of You,' the Anne Hathaway rom-com, and relating to the lyrics of Taylor Swift's "Lavender Haze."
From those humble beginnings, Schulman would go on to enormous success with a wide range of projects, from “The Edge of Seventeen” to “The Illusionist” to winning the Academy Award for producing “Crash.” Her latest is “ The Idea of You,” based on the novel by Robinne Lee about the relationship between single mother Solène ( Anne Hathaway) and boy band star Hayes ( Nicholas Galitzine.) I don’t want to speak for her, but she talks about that period in her life and how she needed to recover, and I’m just so glad that people are rediscovering her because she put her heart and soul into this movie.
