Wendy Raquel Robinson, who has appeared on shows like "The Game" and "The Steve Harvey Show," has been cast in a recurring role on "Poppa's House."
Per the official logline for the series: “Legendary talk radio host and happily divorced ‘Poppa’ (Wayans) has his point of view challenged at work when a new female co-host (Essence Atkins) is hired, and at home where he finds himself still parenting his adult son (Wayans Jr.), a brilliant dreamer who is trying to pursue his passion while being a responsible father and husband.” Robinson has appeared in films like “Two Can Play at That Game,” Martin Lawrence’s “A Thin Line Between Love and Hate” and “Miss Congeniality.” Off screen, Robinson co-founded the Amazing Grace Conservatory, a school dedicated to the arts for youth in Los Angeles.
