‘The Forsytes’ Officially Renewed By PBS Masterpiece Ahead Of Season 1 Premiere; ‘Outlander’ Star Richard Rankin Joins Cast
PBS Masterpiece has confirmed that 'The Forsytes' will return for a second season, even though Season 1 of the period drama is yet premiere.
A sweeping portrait of a wealthy British family in 1880s London, the show’s ensemble cast is led by BAFTA-winner Francesca Annis( Lillie), who plays formidable matriarch Ann. True Blood star Stephen Moyer and Doctor Who actress Millie Gibson also feature alongside the likes of Jack Davenport ( The Morning Show) and Eleanor Tomlinson( One Day). Executive producers are Debbie Horsfield, Meenu Gaur, Michael Ray, and Damien Timmer for Mammoth Screen, part of ITV Studios; and Susanne Simpson for Masterpiece.
