‘The Fall Guy’ Lands First-Ever ‘Stunt Designer’ Credit for Industry Veteran Chris O’Hara From SAG-AFTRA and DGA
SAG-AFTRA and the DGA have approved the industry's first-ever "stunt designer" credit for David Leitch's "The Fall Guy."
“Universal’s decision to allow Kelly and me to add ‘Stunt Designer’ to Chris’ credit on ‘The Fall Guy’ marks a groundbreaking move for a major studio. “The Fall Guy” in theaters on May 3 is inspired by the 1980’s hit TV series of the same name and pays homage to the world of stunts. Ryan Gosling stars as stuntman Colt Seavers while Emily Blunt is an aspiring film director hoping to get her big break on a multimillion-dollar action-packed sci-fi blockbuster called “Metalstorm.” Rather than rely on visual effects and a green screen, Leitch worked with O’Hara to create the in-camera stunt sequences.
