‘The Diplomat’ Season 2 First Look: Keri Russell Returns to Her Emmy-Nominated Role as Netflix Sets October Premiere Date
Keri Russell will return as 'The Diplomat' in Season 2 of the Netflix drama, set to debut on Oct. 31.
Season 2 of the series will pick up with Russell’s foreign correspondent Kate Wyler still navigating the life of a U.S. ambassador to the United Kingdom and the threat of brewing warfare abroad. In January, Variety exclusively reported that Oscar-winner Allison Janney would join the series for Season 2, guest starring as Vice President Grace Penn. Rufus Sewell, David Gyasi, Ali Ahn, Rory Kinnear and Ato Essandoh all return for new episodes.
