‘The Decameron’ Netflix Series Gets Trailer & Premiere Date

Netflix has set a summer premiere date and unveiled the first teaser for The Decameron, it's upcoming soapy period drama.

After the initial sensual teaser set to New Order’s “Blue Monday,” Netflix has now released a full-length trailer for the dark comedy starring Tony Hale, Zosia Mamet and Saoirse-Monica Jackson. Set in the year 1348 when the Black Death strikes hard in the city of Florence, it follows a handful of nobles who retreat with their servants to a grand villa to wait out the plague with a lavish holiday. Cast also includes Amar Chadha-Patel, Leila Farzad, Lou Gala, Karan Gill, Douggie McMeekin, Jessica Plummer and Tanya Reynolds.
