‘The Daily Show’s Jon Stewart Returned To Host Regular Monday Show: “I Just Don’t Know How Much Longer I Could Do This”
Jon Stewart returned to host The Daily Show on Monday night, and it's taking a toll on him, as he also helmed the show last Thursday.
The move was to accommodate Stewart being in LA for the Netflix Is A Joke festival and appearing on John Mulaney’s live show. Despite Stewart joking he barely got any rest from The Daily Show, it was recently announced he would be adding to his job duties with a new podcast from Comedy Central set to launch in June and titled The Weekly Show. “After much reflection, meditation, and prayer, I have decided to extend my work week to two days,” Stewart said in a statement.
