‘The Daily Show,’ With Return Host Jon Stewart, Confirms Plans for 2024 Republican and Democratic Conventions (EXCLUSIVE)

Comedy Central's "The Daily Show," which brought back Jon Stewart as a host this year, airs from the Republican and Democratic conventions this summer.

This continues an “Indecision” tradition that dates back to 2000, when “The Daily Show” first began covering the conventions. The show, which continues air on Comedy Central at 11 p.m. on Mondays through Thursdays, boasts a history of inviting political figures including Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, Bernie Sanders, Pete Buttigieg, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Gretchen Witmer, John McCain, Nikki Haley, Rand Paul, John Kasich, Chris Christie, Tim Scott, Larry Hogan and Lindsey Graham. “The Daily Show,” which won last year’s Emmy for best variety talk series, is executive produced by showrunner/writer Jen Flanz.
