‘The Daily Show’ Changes RNC Coverage Plans After Trump Rally Shooting


Following the assassination attempt against Donald Trump, The Daily Show won't broadcast from the Republican National Convention in Wisconsin.

Jon Stewart will host 'The Daily Show: Indecision 2024' Comedy Central Following the Saturday assassination attempt against the Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump and its aftermath, the Comedy Central show, is making adjustments to its Indecision 2024 coverage. The Daily Show will go dark on Monday, July 15, as the writers and crew, some of whom had already traveled to Wisconsin, make the logistical change, with the Tuesday-Thursday episodes airing from the program’s New York studio. Security at the RNC is expected to be tightened following the Saturday deadly shooting, which claimed the life of a Trump supporter while injuring the former President.
