The Crown, which wrapped up its six-season run on Netflix at the end of last year, has been subject of a slew of royal rumors regarding spinoffs. We did six seasons, a very defined period of six decades, there’s plenty of potential, which at some point, I suspect we’ll return to,” he said on BBC’s The Media Show. In 2022, Deadline revealed that Netflix was in early-stage conversations with Harries’ Left Bank over a prequel, which Peter Morgan has repeated more recently.
