‘The Creep Tapes’ Renewed For Season 2 At Shudder
'The Creep Tapes' has been renewed for a second season at Shudder after setting viewership records at the streamer.
Mark Duplass in 'The Creep Tapes'Shudder The renewal seems to have been a no-brainer, as the first episodic installment of the Creep franchise, based on an earlier pair of cult horror films from Duplass and Brice, debuted as the most watched Shudder show of all time on AMC+ and the strongest November release in Shudder history, driving record subscriber growth and social media engagement, we’re told. Set to premiere on Shudder and AMC+ later this year, Season 2 will continue to unravel the mind of the franchise’s secluded serial killer (Duplass) who lures videographers into his world with the promise of a paid job documenting his life. Courtney Thomasma, who serves as EVP of streaming at AMC Networks, added, “We can’t wait to see where Mark and Patrick will take this story next as we continue to grow this fan-favorite franchise across both Shudder and AMC+.
