It's a family affair on 'The Conners': Laurie Metcalf's daughter, Zoe Perry, joins the final season after both played Sheldon Cooper's mother on different shows in 'The Big Bang Theory' universe.

Entertainment Weekly can confirm Laurie Metcalf's daughter Zoe Perry has been cast in a multi-episode arc in the seventh and final season. Despite their familial connection — and uncanny resemblance and cadence — Perry previously told EW she still went through a "typical" audition process when succeeding her mother as Mary Cooper in the Big Bang universe. After celebrating its milestone 100th episode last season, ABC announced in May that the beloved show had been renewed for a final time.
