‘The Climb’s Michael Angelo Covino To Direct & Star In Comedy ‘Splitsville’ For Neon, Topic Studios; Dakota Johnson, Adria Arjona & Kyle Marvin Also Set
'Splitsville', a comedy in which Dakota Johnson and Adria Arjona star alongside 'The Climb's Michael Angelo Covino and Kyle Marvin, is in the works.
Others in the cast will include Dakota Johnson( Daddio), Adria Arjona( Hit Man), and Covino’s fellow writer, producer and star of The Climb, Kyle Marvin, with whom he wrote the script. Splitsville picks up with Ashley (Arjona) asking for a divorce, watching as the good-natured Carey (Marvin) runs to his friends, Julie (Johnson) and Paul (Covino), for support. Covino also exec produced the sports comedy 80 for Brady, directed for Paramount by Marvin, and appears in the Western News of the World from filmmaker Paul Greengrass.
