‘The Carters’ Trailer: Nick Carter Says ‘Fame and Money Destroyed Our Family’ in Paramount+ Doc
In the emotional first trailer for "The Carters," Angel Carter Conrad tells her tragic family story with brother Nick Carter.
From director Soleil Moon Frye and produced by See It Now Studios and Candle True Stories, the two-part doc “features intimate conversations between the only surviving Carter siblings, Angel and Nick, who confront their complex childhood and the profound tragedies that marked their family” as well as never-before-seen home videos, photographs, audio recordings and private text messages. Viewers can expect conversations with the family’s industry friends including Melissa Joan Hart, Scout Willis and longtime manager Lori Knight. “The Carters: Hurts to Love You” is executive produced by James Goldston, Steven Baker, Cynthia Childs, Soleil Moon Frye, Susan Zirinsky and Terence Wrong and is distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution; Aysu Saliba and Cara Tortora are supervising producers.
