‘The Boys’ Star Karen Fukuhara Signs With IAG

'The Boys' star Karen Fukuhara has signed with Independent Artist Group for representation, Deadline can exclusively reveal.

Fukuhara is just the latest star of the Eric Kripke series, based on the comic book by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, to sign with IAG, following Jessie T. Usher and Laz Alonzo. Returning for its fourth season over the summer, The Boys is a darkly satirical series about a group of vigilantes taking on corrupt and dangerous superheroes, or “Supes,” created by a shady corporation called Vought International. Fukuhara plays Kimiko, a mute woman with a traumatic past, who gains superhuman strength, agility, and regenerative powers after being subjected to the experimental drug Compound V, using her abilities to fight alongside Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) and his vigilante team.
