'The Boys' Spinoff 'Vought Rising' Ordered at Prime Video, Jensen Ackles to Star as Soldier Boy

During the Hall H panel inside Comic-Con on Friday, Cash, 42, similarly graced fans with her presence (via a pre-recorded video), telling the crowd that she has read the scripts and that the show will include references spanning Judy Garland to Joe McCarthy. The Boys-- which is based on a comic book series of the same name -- has already inspired one massive spinoff, Gen V, which follows students at Godolkin University -- a college specifically for supes. That show stars Maddie Phillips, Lizze Broadway, Jaz Sinclair, Asa Germann and Chance Perdomo -- who died in a motorcycle accident in March at the age of 27.
