This marks the latest expansion in The Boys franchise whose flagship series has been drawing more than billion viewing minutes weekly in the US alone with the recent release of its penultimate fourth season. The Boys, based on the best-selling comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, is a fun and irreverent take on what happens when superheroes—who are as popular as celebrities, as influential as politicians, and as revered as gods—abuse their superpowers rather than use them for good.
