‘The Batman’ Director Matt Reeves Speaks On Robert Pattinson Potentially Joining The DC Universe


Could The Batman actually join the DC Universe? Director Matt Reeves gives his thoughts on if Robert Pattinson could be the mainline Caped Crusader.

This has led to widespread discussion on if or should Robert Pattinson should join the main continuity of the DC Universe to become Batman across from David Corenswet’s version of Superman and the broader Justice League. During an appearance at the Golden Globes, Reeves was asked if there was any chance for Robert Pattinson’s incarnation of the World’s Greatest Detective could find his way into the DC Universe. The director stated plainly that, while he did contemplate bringing Pattinson into the DC Universe, he is committed to telling Elseworlds stories with the upcoming incarnation of the franchise.
