However, to celebrate Batman day, storyboard artist Jay Olivia unveiled concept art showcasing Ben Affleck’s Dark Knight in a brawl against Deathstroke. The pattern of the costume seemingly confirms that Joe Manganiello was set to reprise his role as Slade Wilson in the project following his debut in the theatrical cut of Justice League. While it lacks the high-flying action that would’ve been promised with a film focused on taking down Deathstroke, The Batman has ended up as one of the most beloved pieces of media in the character’s history.
