The Apprentice filmmaker Ali Abbasi, while not commenting on who his distributor is, said Sept. 15 would be a nice release date for the Donald J. Trump movie timed to the second Presidential Debate. Following the movie’s world premiere where it received an 11-minute standing ovation at the Grand Theatre Lumiere, Trump campaign’s Steven Cheung declared, “We will be filing a lawsuit to address the blatantly false assertions from these pretend filmmakers.” “As with the illegal Biden Trials, this is election interference by Hollywood elites, who know that President Trump will retake the White House and beat their candidate of choice because nothing they have done has worked.”
