‘The Acolyte’ Trailer: A Jedi Killer Is on the Loose in ‘Star Wars’ Series Set 100 Years Before Prequels
Disney has released the trailer for its newest "Star Wars" series "The Acolyte," which is set to stream on Disney+ June 4.
The cast includes Amandla Stenberg, Lee Jung-jae, Manny Jacinto, Dafne Keen, Charlie Barnett, Jodie Turner-Smith, Rebecca Henderson, Dean-Charles Chapman, Joonas Suotamo and Carrie-Anne Moss. An official logline for the series states, “An investigation into a shocking crime spree pits a respected Jedi Master (Lee) against a dangerous warrior from his past (Stenberg). Others include “Obi-Wan Kenobi,” “Andor,” “The Book of Boba Fett” and “Ahsoka.” “The Mandalorian,” which premiered back in 2019, was the first live-action “Star Wars” series to stream on Disney+.
