Videocine sets December bow for ‘Una Pequeña Confusión,’ starring “Ted Lasso” star Cristo Fernandez, Juanpa Zurita, Ana de la Reguera, Vico Escorcia
The comedy revolves around two couples: Lola and Cuau (De la Reguera and Fernández), a progressive middle-class pair, and Iñigo and Majo (Zurita and Escorcia), a young conservative, well-heeled duo. “It combines humor and heart, showcasing the incredible talents of our cast and crew,” said Videocine director general Rodrigo de Pedro who added: “It’s a story about the unexpected, the importance of family, and finding laughter amidst chaos.” Mexican exhibition has been steadily recovering from the pandemic slump, with Canacine, (the National Chamber of the Cinematographic Industry) reporting a 33% jump in admissions and a 36% increase in Mexico’s box office last year.
