A new set photo points to a Saturday Night Alive alum taking on the role of the Daily Planet’s sports reporter in the DC Universe. While facial hair is far from official confirmation that he’ll be playing the Daily Planet reporter, Bennett’s prior history of a clean-shaven face suggests that it is at least a possibility. Comedian Chris Distefano previously said he had auditioned to play a reporter in the Superman reboot, highly speculated to be Steve Lombard.
