Could David Corenswet be donning the black Superman suit? The Superman star gives a nod to one of the character’s most iconic costumes in a new set of photos.

With David Corenswet now wrapping up his first film in the DC Universe as the Man of Steel, there’s already been some speculation of whether he could get his own version of the suit in the form of an easter egg or future storyline. In recent photos of Corenswet with the parents of co-star María Gabriela de Faría, he’s seen wearing a shirt that has the logo of the black suit on the chest. Even though David Corenswet’s shirt appears to be an official piece of merch given to the crew of Superman, it’s not likely he’ll be donning the black suit on the silver screen anytime soon.
