"Suits," a cable TV mainstay that recently became a record-breaking streaming phenomenon, will make its broadcast debut this fall on MyNetwork TV.
Suits, a long-running mainstay on cable’s USA Network that became a streaming phenomenon last year, will make its broadcast debut this fall on MyNetwork TV. Even though the Netflix run was non-exclusive (the show’s full nine seasons can only be streamed on Peacock), it racked up viewing minutes in the tens of billions and broke a number of Nielsen records. “It’s become increasingly more difficult, if not impossible, to launch obscure product on broadcast TV,” said Frank Cicha, EVP of Programming for Fox Television Stations, whose role also encompasses MyNetworkTV.
