'Suits' Spinoff 'Suits: LA' Lands Pilot Order at NBC
The new iteration will follow Ted Black, a former federal prosecutor from New York, who has reinvented himself representing the most powerful clients in Los Angeles. Gabriel Macht, Patrick J. Adams, Rick Hoffman, Meghan Markle, Gina Torres (who led the short-lived “Pearson” spinoff), Sarah Rafferty, among others starred in the flagship series. “Suits” creator Aaron Korsh serves as writer and executive producer alongside David Bartis and Dog Liman for Hypnotic, and Gene Klein.
