NBC has given a pilot order to Suits: L.A. from Aaron Korsh, the creator and writer of the original series, which is set to begin production in late March in Vancouver. According to the project’s logline, Suits: L.A. is centered on Ted Black, a former federal prosecutor from New York, who has reinvented himself representing the most powerful clients in Los Angeles. Gabriel Macht, Patrick J. Adams, Gina Torres, Sarah Rafferty, Megan Markle and Rick Hoffman all starred in Suits during the end of the USA Network’s (part of NBCUniversal) popular Blue Sky era.
