Emmy-winning 'Succession' creator Jesse Armstrong has set his next project -- an HBO film about four friends amid an international financial crisis.

EXCLUSIVE: We have the answer to one of the biggest questions in television, what will Jesse Armstrong do as a followup to his acclaimed HBO drama Succession — and it may come as a surprise. Details are scarce but the film is said to revolve around four friends who meet up during the turmoil of an ongoing international financial crisis. While he is known for his TV work, Armstrong also has a feature background; he shared an Adapted Screenplay Oscar nomination for the 2009 movie In The Loop with frequent collaborator Armando Iannucci as well as Simon Blackwell and Tony Roche.
