'Strictly's Chris McCausland and I have exact same eye condition - here's what I can see'

EXCLUSIVE: Sarah Brandt, 50, was diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa (RP) at the age of 25, the same condition as Strictly Come Dancing finalist Chris McCausland

Strictly Come Dancing finalist and comedian Chris McCausland completely lost his sight at the age of 22 due to a hereditary condition called retinitis pigmentosa (RP). During his time on the glitzy BBC show with his pro partner Dianne Buswell, Chris has been applauded for his ability to learn the routines without any visual aids and even performed a poignant dance that imitated his experience with blindness. The mum of one said she didn't know how RP would affect her or if she would go "completely blind" like her father, who woke up one day and had entirely lost his sight, "It can happen like that", Sarah added.
