‘Strictly Come Dancing’ Contestant Wynne Evans Dropped By BBC After Making Lewd Remark


Wynne Evans has been droppedf from his BBC radio show after a 'Strictly Come Dancing' lewd remark.

Wynne EvansIan Forsyth/Getty Several months after Evans was recorded using the term “spitroast” during the Strictly Live tour, he posted an Instagram message in which he said “it breaks my heart to say the BBC has decided not to renew my contract so I won’t be returning to my radio show.” He is best known in the UK as the opera singer from the Go Compare adverts and also hosted a series, Wynne & Joanna: All at Sea, in the week he was outed for making the lewd remark. Along with his use of the word, which is slang for a three-person sexual position, Evans had already attracted headlines for the wrong reasons while he was on Strictly late last year after being recorded having his hands pushed away from the midriff of his dance partner Katya Jones.
