‘Stath Lets Flats’ Producer Roughcut Television Inks First Look Drama Development Deal With Fremantle


'Stath Lets Flats' producer Roughcut Television has signed a first look drama development deal with Fremantle.

Roughcut, who recently announced upcoming Diane Kruger-fronted series “Little Disasters” for Paramount+, was founded by Ash Atalla and Tim Sealey and quickly built a reputation for comedy shows, including “Stath Lets Flats” and “Big Boys.” Fremantle have recently inked first look deals with companies including Kristen Stewart’s Nevermind Pictures, Me+You Productions and Rachel Weisz and Polly Stokes’ Astral Projection as well as with filmmakers such as Luca Guadagnino, Paolo Sorrentino and Angelina Jolie. Rebecca Dundon, SVP for international scripted content at Fremantle, added: “Roughcut’s commercial sensibility and brilliant creative vision lead by Ash, Alex and Marianna is making for an exciting slate of original, contemporary drama series that feel in tune with what audiences and buyers are actively seeking both locally and globally.
