Netflix Is Rebooting 'Star Search'
The new version will be produced by Jesse Collins Entertainment ( Rhythm + Flow, Primetime Emmys, Hollywood Squares) and will spotlight performers in music, dance and variety/comedy. The old series helped launch the careers of Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Dave Chappelle, Christina Aguilera, Adam Sandler and others. Netflix’s other competition series include Building the Band, The Golden Ticket, Squid Game: The Challenge, Million Dollar Secret, Is It Cake?
